No longer using Book Our Plane for club messages

If you’re getting this and have no idea what Book Our Plane is, it’s because you weren’t part of the Book Our Plane member list (about a 1/3rd of all members) and weren’t receiving club messages at all. Book Our Plane will still be used for the time being to book the powered planes, but will eventually be replaced as well to facilitate automated invoicing and payments in the interest of reducing the huge monthly time burden on the Treasurer. Member profiles, messaging etc are now handled by the https://www.longislandsoaring.com/ app which is where this message originated. The new site/app is focused more on operations than the original, mostly informational website (though that content is still there). You, as well as guests, are now able to make a reservation for a specific day, though actual flights will remain first come, first serve. This will help facilitate better operation planning, esp. during the week. You can also login (top right) using your phone number to authenticate which will pre-fill your name and number when making a reservation.
